Day 4--London

We were exhausted from the day before, so we had a leisurely breakfast and decided to explore the weekend Portobello Road market. Unfortunately, the day was much warmer than other days had been, and the market was a 30 minute walk away. We sweated our way through the stalls and the crowds. We had lunch at our new favorite spot, Bluebelles. Our family is learning to deeply appreciate the luxury of ordering free, delicious tap water at restaurants.

Portobello was the absolute largest outdoor market I’ve ever seen. It seemed to go on forever. Walking through the food stalls alone was like taking a trip around the world. Gracelyn and I chose our tiny London souvenirs from two of the vendors.

Beautiful Notting Hill homes on a beautiful morning.

Who doesn’t love a pink door?

                            Lovely high fashion on display

                                     So many people!

Yummy desserts! Banoffee flavored crepe and gelato.

                        The Market is obviously beloved.

Lunch at our new favorite, Bluebelles.
